Foodies are saving the date as Waterford City’s week-long Harvest Festival is set to kick off in September – for seven consecutive days.
Due to current health and safety measures, the City and County Council of Waterford have decided to extend the Food Festival to the week from Monday September 6 to Sunday September 12.
During these seven days inside the city walls, expect bespoke menus, lush dining experiences, delicious seasonal dishes, adventurous tasting trails, and moving collaborations with local producers.
And it’s not just for food fanatics either, with plenty to choose from for the craft beer connoisseur and culture buff among us.
To celebrate the festival’s 12th year, local restaurants, bars, bistros, pubs, retailers and hotels will showcase their love of good food as the lockdown comes out.
In addition to delighting our taste buds, the city’s favorite artistic and cultural places will offer much-needed entertainment.
And while you’re in the sunny South East, why not visit some of Ireland’s oldest city’s many historical and cultural sites during your stay?
After more than a year of homemade sourdough bread and several kitchen disasters, it’s time to make some new memories with those you love in one of the best places in the country.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your tickets while you still can with friends and family for a trip to Ireland’s # 1 foodie destination in September.
Waterford Harvest Festival is presented by Waterford City and County Council.
