Friday October 1

Fall Lantern Festival. Explore an installation of hand-painted lanterns, food and music.

  • 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Friday to Sunday, October 1 to 3

Coeur Cause Sparkling Rosé charity event. The Coeur Cause Sparkling Reisling released by Milbrandt Vineyards and Coeur Cause in June was so popular that they started again with a Coeur Cause Sparkling Rosé. 10% of sales of this wine will go to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease in Washington State through the end of 2022. The event will include a raffle and auction.

  • 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day
  • $ 35 per person or discount with the purchase of a Coeur Cause bottle, $ 15 for wine club members or discount with the purchase of a Coeur Cause bottle; call 425-949-7660 to make a reservation.

Ten days of Oktoberfest. Three days of special food and drink, live music, soccer, and the Kraken’s very first pre-season game.

Saturday October 2

District U Station Opening Festival and $ 3 Food Walk. This festival celebrates the opening of the new light rail station with festivities, live music, a beer garden and a $ 3 foodie walk with over 40 participating restaurants, offering two signature bites.

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Brooklyn Ave NE & NE 43rd St

Walking to end Alzheimer’s disease. This walk aims to raise awareness and raise funds for care, support and research. Keep an eye out for Friday, as many of Seattle’s iconic landmarks “turn purple” for the event.

  • Registration at 8 a.m., ceremony at 9 a.m. then walk
  • No registration fees but fundraising and donations are encouraged; Sign up online
  • Seattle Center, South Fountain Lawn

Sunday October 3

Start 22 Conference. This female entrepreneurship conference will feature a panel of six speakers, a lunch and more.
