The A Taste of Leyland food and drink festival returns to the city for 2021.
Last year’s event was canceled due to the coronavirus, but visitors can once again enjoy food, drink and live music on September 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organized by the South Ribble Borough Council, the festival celebrates local and regional vendors and will feature plenty of mouthwatering stalls, offering visitors a range of alcoholic drinks, Italian cuisine, treats and burgers.

There will also be activities for the kids, including rides and face painting, as well as live music from Leyland musicians Phil Ireland, Just Giorge and Kev Jameson.
Located in the Leyland Market and Ecroyd Street car park, the event, which has been taking place since 2015, is both outdoor and indoor.
Councilor Paul Foster, Head of South Ribble Borough Council, said: âI am delighted that A Taste of Leyland is back for people to enjoy and also to support local businesses which is more important than ever.
âWhether you are a foodie, a lover of live music or want to bring the kids for a fun day, I encourage you to come, support the event and have a great day.â
The event is partly funded by the Welcome Back project of the European Regional Development Fund.
