We all missed out on so many of our favorite events last year here in downtown New York, so it’s so wonderful that the opportunities to enjoy our favorites are coming back this year! One of these events is very popular in Chenango County.
Last year, one of central New York’s major arts festivals was canceled due to COVID-19, but it will return this year, September 11-12 in downtown Norwich, NY.
Colorscape Chenango is an annual, nationally recognized event that attracts between 10 and 12,000 people each year to enjoy (rain or shine) the products of more than 100 artisans from all over. This is a juried arts and crafts festival with many new participants this year. The best part is, you definitely don’t have to be a big spender to have fun. It’s a free entry festival if you just want to window shop and enjoy a feast for the eyes with all that is on offer.
In addition to all the arts and crafts, there will also be hands-on activities for children, culinary arts, literary arts (poets, illustrators and authors), craft sales and several musical performances in direct.
You can keep up to date with the latest information on the Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival facebook page where they feature participating artists and entertainment, or you can visit colorscape.org.
