Spooky Fun awaits this Halloween | Travel + Outdoors


After having to alter our fear factor last year, it looks like we can enjoy a Halloween that is more reminiscent of previous years. We’ve rounded up some spooky haunted houses, pumpkin fields, corn mazes, and more so you can start planning your Halloween.









My haunted house of morbid spirit

4548 Marvin Road SE, Lacey

You might have survived 2020, but you might not be so lucky once you visit My Morbid Mind Haunted House in Lacey. Visitors will discover the horrors it has to offer, including a spooky 3D experience in a barn.

Husbands Farms

25001 Sumner-Buckley Road, Buckley

Buckley’s Husband Farms could be one of the South Sound’s biggest fall attractions. By day, navigate a 10-acre corn and pumpkin maze, or choose from over 30 activities, including pumpkin tether ballooning, rubber duck races, and a mechanical bull. And, as Halloween approaches, test your nerves as you stroll through the haunted woods.

Dread station

626 E. 25th St., Tacoma

Frighthouse Station celebrates another season with new characters and 30 thrilling rooms of terror. This seasonal haunted house is filled with nightmarish creatures, gruesome deaths and more.

Spooner Farms

9710 Route nationale 162 E., Puyallup

Strong since 1892, Spooner Farms will be open to guests in October. Its harvest festival takes place every day throughout the month and features 50 varieties of pumpkins and squash. Activities include corn mazes, a pumpkin slingshot and more.

Lattin County Cider

9402 Rich Road SE, Olympia

It’s a local favorite for pumpkins, apple cider, donuts, farm animals and more.

Rutledge Corn Maze

We can’t wait to see what the theme for this year’s corn maze will be. Rutledge Corn Maze featured designs such as Twilight Vampires and former Seattle Seahawks player Marshawn Lynch. What are we going to lose this year?

Fright Fest at Wild Waves

36201 Enchanted Pkwy, Federal Way

Bundle up and head to this Federal Way theme park to scream, laugh, and get a dose of sugar. It’s family friendly by day and scary at night.
