Christian Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1919 Jefferson Drive, will celebrate a 48e birthday with Family and Friend Day at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Solid Rock Baptist Church, 1337 East 5th St., will continue to teach the series Prospering God’s Way Through a Pandemic Plague taught by Rev. Harry Abrams Jr. at the 11 a.m. Sunday service. Reverend Richard Keaton Nash’s radio show “I Will Bless Them That Bless Thee” will air on 96.9 LPFM at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and will feature Reverend David Martin, Associate Minister at Ruach Ministries International and graduate in July 2021 d ” a bachelor’s degree in theology from the Ruach School of Theology. They will discuss his new book, The ABC’s of Faith.

The Baptist Missionary Church of the Christian Faith will celebrate the 18 years of appreciation of Pastors Albert and Charlotte Moses. The theme of this occasion is “Trust in His Holy Word,” from Hebrews 1: 2. In honor of the celebration of the pastors, the following event is scheduled.

  • The 18th Pastor and First Lady Appreciation Banquet will be held at 7 p.m. on November 12 at the Pompano Club, 330 Twin City Highway in Port Neches.
  • Pastor and First Lady 18e The anniversary celebration service will be held at 10 a.m. on November 14 at the church, 1919 Jefferson Drive.
