The annual event is an opportunity to support and celebrate members of our armed forces, past and present.
Representatives of the Forces, several charities and Boy Scouts will wait to welcome visitors.
At Letchworth’s Broadway, a mix of stalls, crafts and entertainment will be on offer, along with a pop-up museum provided by Heritage Foundation curator and city historian Josh Tidy.
There will also be a fun fair and ice cream for the kids, and beer for the adults!
You can also watch:
Weather permitting, the incomparable sound of a Spitfire is about to tear the skies apart as it performs multiple parades and a victory roll over the fountains of Broadway.
The organizers have accommodated folding chairs and rest for a while, while you soak up the performances and parades.
Denise Poynter of the Royal British Legion said: “Please join us in celebrating and supporting our armed forces.
“Despite a difficult year we managed to organize this, it promises to be a great day and I hope it will be even bigger all day and an evening event next year.
“With special thanks to all our sponsors and of course, we are mobilizing for the organizers of the event.”
Elsewhere in the city center, the Letchworth Food & Drink Festival will return for a busy weekend.
