POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – As summer shifts into high gear, weekends are filled with festivals across our great state, filled with tasty food and delicious drinks to try.
With pandemic rules and restrictions finally lifted, foodies of all types can now spend their summer weekends eating and drinking across New Jersey.
Here are some of the various food festivals taking place in the Garden State this summer.
Point Pleasant Beach to host 43rd Annual Festival of the Seas
Seafood lovers flock to Point Pleasant Beach each September to indulge in some of the best local seafood that the Jersey Shore has to offer, and admission is free. This year’s festival takes place on September 18 along Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach.
NJ State BBQ Championships will be held in North Wildwood
Grills and smokers will be on in North Wildwood on July 10 as the resort hosts the New Jersey State BBQ Championships July 9-11.
The festival is free and there will be live music, craft beer and live cooking demonstrations.
The Vegan Food Festival returns to AC Boardwalk
Healthy, compassionate eaters can rejoice in the return of the Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival on the boardwalk outside the Showboat in Atlantic City. The festival is outside and all current guidelines regarding social distancing will be followed. Tickets can be purchased here.
Chester to host the Cheers at Chester Fest in July
Whether you’re enjoying a cold beer, a fine glass of wine, or a neat whiskey, the Cheers in Chester Fest on July 24 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. It’s also a fundraiser for Chester First Aid, and tickets can be found at the site of the event.
A Oktoberfest on the USS New Jersey? Why not?
The New Jersey Beer Festival aboard the Battleship New Jersey takes place July 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Camden aboard the USS New Jersey. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
NJ’s first Hard Seltzer festival arrives in Atlantic City in August
Are you a fan of everything WhiteClaw and Truly? If so, then the Fizziology Seltzer Festival at Sandcastle Stadium in Atlantic City on August 7th is the place for you.
