WELCOME — This weekend the Sherburn Festival is scheduled as well as the Sherburn High School reunion. Most of the festivities take place at Sherburn City Park. The Welcome Summer Festival is scheduled for July 15-16. There are usually sellouts all over town and if anyone wants their sellout on the map which is usually found at Casey’s, they should email [email protected] by July 1st, with the name, address and relevant information. Anyone interested in parade units should call (507) 236-1791. There will be a vendor display in Keck Park starting at 10 a.m. on July 16, and for information on this, please contact Amanda Kleinschmidt on Messenger on Facebook. There are summer festival tickets available for $10 each. The prizes are coolers and Blackstones and gift cards for Welcome Meats. There are also gift cards for the Old 16 Bar and Grill, Tami’s on the Ave. at Fairmont and the Welcome Legion. The draw will take place on July 16 at the festival. You don’t have to be present to win. But don’t miss all the fun of Welcome this weekend.
