Cheerwine Festival Returns to Salisbury, NC with Live Entertainment, Family Fun and More | food drink

SALISBURY, NC (February 7, 2022) – Cheerwine, the iconic soft drink of the south, and its hometown of Salisbury, North Carolina, will host what has become one of the most popular festivals in the Carolinas on Saturday, May 21. , from noon to 10 p.m.

Festival-goers will enjoy live performances from local, regional and national musical acts; delicious Cheerwine-inspired food, beverages and crafts from Carolinian vendors; child-friendly activities; and lots of iced sparkling Cheerwine.

“We first held the Cheerwine Festival in 2017 for our 100th anniversary, and now it’s become an annual event to celebrate our amazing fans and the town of Salisbury, and pay homage to the unique tastes, sights and sounds rooted in the Carolinas,” said Joy Ritchie Harper, vice president of marketing for Cheerwine and a fifth-generation founding family member. “We are delighted to once again welcome our passionate fans who travel from all over the South to celebrate with us in the beautiful setting of historic Salisbury town centre.”

Merchants have until February 18 to submit their application to participate in this year’s family festivities.

The full music lineup, along with additional details about the outdoor festival, will be released in the coming weeks.
