Ben Harper will headline the first-ever Mill Valley Music Festival this Saturday


Mill Valley’s premier music festival is gearing up to bring diverse live music and family entertainment to the city this Saturday at Friends Field in the city. Grammy-winning folk and blues singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harper will headline the event with his band, The Innocent Criminals.

The festival will be a one-day spectacle, with two stages for musical acts, roller skating, lawn games, an arcade, a live painter and a drag queen “advice office”, as well as options food and drink and a dedicated children’s area.

Alongside Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, the full musical lineup includes Lettuce, a funk band from Boston; Nashville-based singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Liz Cooper; Venezuelan disco, acid jazz and funk band Los Amigos Invisibles; and La Dona de San Francisco, whose music explores radical brunette femininity.
