Art House Productions and sponsor SILVERMAN will present the 15th Annual Snow Ball Gala on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with VIP from 6:00 p.m., at the Glass Gallery at Mana Contemporary, 10 Senate Place, Jersey City.

This year’s theme is Into The Deep, a creative black tie outfit is encouraged.

The VIP CoolVines cocktail party includes a champagne toast at 6 p.m. with Snow Ball winners Jack Halpin (co-founder of Art House Productions) and Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects (the architects of the future permanent home of Art House at 180 Morgan St.), our silent auction, cocktails from Coolvines, martinis from All Points West and exclusive catering from The Brightside Tavern, plus a few exciting surprises!

Doors open at 7 p.m. for all guests, with additional live entertainment, drinks from the open bar, and delicious food to be announced.

Tickets cost $ 150 in advance ($ 175 at the door) and $ 250 for the CoolVines VIP cocktail. $ 55 tickets are available for under 35s, ADA and performers, as well as $ 100 Celebrate at Home tickets for patrons who cannot join the event in person.

Profits go to an ambitious season of performing arts, visual arts and arts education, and a more original theater on the main stage this spring. Tickets can be purchased at

Discounted tickets for customers with disabilities are available for $ 55. The Glass Gallery at Mana Contemporary is wheelchair accessible; accessible bathroom trailers are located just outside the site. The Mana parking ramp at the entrance to the Glass Gallery is not accessible to the ADA; it is recommended that customers with reduced mobility be dropped off at the front of the building. Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects

Since the founding of MHS in 1981, Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects has orchestrated award-winning architectural, planning and design services for a long list of residential and mixed-use developments. But more than winning awards, their inventive and successful solutions have repeatedly helped deliver the kind of feedback developers expect and appreciate. Guided by the principles of New Urbanism, they were the main force in creating the new face of the incredible revitalization of Hoboken. And across New Jersey, they’re at the forefront of several important trends: the trend to bring downtowns back to small towns, the design and planning of smart growth developments focused on transit, and the critical trend. to implement a green and sustainable architecture. In August 2021, the New Jersey Chapter of the American Concrete Institute awarded 180 Morgan in Jersey City a Merit Award in the High Rise category.

Jack halpin

Jack joined Art House shortly after its founding in 2001 and immediately began wearing multiple hats: director, screenwriter, designer, curator, production and stage manager, stage artist, audio technician, performer, and host. He officially assumed the role of Artistic Director in 2008 until his resignation in 2013. As a founding member of the Board of Directors, Jack helped define and develop AHP’s mission and structure to achieve the incorporation and designation as a non-profit organization (501c3), crucial steps in our future growth. He prioritized the construction of a welcoming and accessible environment. He especially enjoyed transforming the space for a variety of original plays, multi-arts events and life-sustaining programs including: YOUR MOVE Modern Dance Festival, STAGES Youth Musical Theater Conservatory, JC ReBuild (Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser) , Game Show Fever, The LGBTQ Prom, the annual Snow Ball Gala and the AHP’s monthly Open Mic Long Night; as well as fostering and supporting city-wide festivals such as JC Fridays.

Currently, he is pursuing his acting career – his television appearances include “Boardwalk Empire”, “Friends From College”, “Bull” and “Manifest” – as well as numerous commercials. He trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, with numerous theater credits in California and New York. In addition, Jack brings his technical and production experience to work with Rock-It Docket, Lux Performing Arts, Production Post, ThisLearning, Friggin ‘Fabulous Productions, Jersey City Theater Center and other local organizations; and, he can be seen and heard locally as a singer / songwriter.

He cherishes the countless collaborations with the Art House team and the wide variety of artists and arts organizations, community members and leaders, students and volunteers who have joined us. He is very proud that Art House is reaching its 20th anniversary and grateful to all of our supporters over the years and current staff for continuing to give the arts a home in Jersey City!
