The 2021 Photographic Nights of Selma festival takes place this week from November 4-7 at Arts Revive.
The festival features work submitted by photographers from outside and inside the city of Selma.
Photographic Nights of Selma was founded by Stéphane Kossmann, who also founded similar festivals in Pierrevert, France and Morocco.
On November 4, registration will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Coffee Shoppe at 308 Broad Street. See coup for the schedule for the following days:
Saturday 5 November
2:00 p.m. – Presentation by Chip Cooper and introduction by Charlie Lucas
3:00 p.m. – Presentation by Liesa Cole
4 p.m. – Presentation by Frank Jackson, Guest of Honor
7 p.m. – Screening Photographic Nights of Selma
8:30 p.m. – Post-screening welcome
Sunday November 6
10 a.m. – Walking tour with Joanne Bland (meeting at Arts Revive)
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Clyde’s Food Truck will be at Arts Revive
2 p.m. – Round table with all the photographers
4 p.m. – Journeys for the Soul presentation by Joanne Bland
5 p.m. – Presentation and Q&A with Sydney Foster, winner of the 2020 Audience Award
7 p.m. – Screening of Selma’s Photographic Nights
8:30 p.m. – Post screening welcome
